Delbee Theater

Originally known as the Delbee Theater, the Derby Theatre did business in Latonia until early-1940. It became an auto repair shop for many years. By 2025 it had been converted into residential use.

Here is a photo of the Delbee Theatre, probably from 1920. There is a poster for director William Desmond Taylor’s 1920 film, The Furnace, at lower left. The brick facade now on the building doesn’t resemble the original theater front at all.

Original arched facade photo added courtesy Chris Brooks. Also added the wide 1920 photo from Joe Vogel’s 2012 dead link.
