Welfare Hall & Institute

Located in the Rhondda Valley, near Ferndale. The Welfare Hall was built in 1933 and is listed as operating as a cinema from at least 1937. It closed as a cinema in 1973.

Later used as a community hall, it was re-opened in 1998 for film use and other community projects. It is supported by Government grants.

The Welfare Hall & Institute is a Grade II Listed building.
