Stadtkino im Kunstlerhaus Wien

The Kunstlerhaus was built in 1868 as a events and exhibition venue. The Kunstlerhaus Kino opened in 1949, in a former exhibition hall attached to the Kunstlerhaus. It is owned by the Association of Austrian Artists and screens independent Avante-Garde and rare films.

On 26th September 2013 the Stadt Kino located on Schwarzenbergplatz 7-8 was closed and transfered their operation to the Kunstlerhaus Kino.
