Opened as a single screen on April 2, 1982 with Ruth Gordon in “Harold and Maude”. It had the-then new concept of dining, drinking and movies. It had a successful run for many years. On December 6, 1991 it was renamed Silver Screen Café.

By the 90’s this place was twinned and renamed the Silver Screen Cafe.

Renamed Silver Screen Café on December 6th, 1991. It opened as Cinema ‘n’ Drafthouse on April 2nd, 1982. No 1982 grand opening ad found.
