The 6-screen Odeon opened on 24th November 1995. It had seating capacities for 279, 164, 181, 138, 134 and 138.

The Odeon was closed on 7th October 2001, replaced by a new 9-screen Odeon, located at Brayforth Wharf, which opened on 19th October 2001.

In 2003 it was converted into a Superbowl, 10-pin bowling alley.
