Correct that the Museum of Science was an Omnimax house. It got to the point where I refused to review films playing there because they insisted on stretching Imax films into the Omnimax format. I recall watching a travelogue on the Grand Canyon and getting to the point where they showed a Native American crouching overlooking the rim, and I had to stare at his butt fifty feet wide.

No Hollywood films here lately perhaps due to the fact they still use film
Sorry Ron but the Aquarium Imax was Boston,s 1st IMAX 3D theatre. The Omni theatre is as stated Omnimax which is different and it does not show (3D).
This was Boston’s second IMAX screen. The first was the Museum of Science’s Mugar Omni Theater, which I just now added to this website.
