The Wake Theatre was opened on June 2, 1932 with Marian Marsh in “Under Eighteen”. It was listed as having a seating capacity of 800. In the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook it is listed with 500 seats and it was still open in 1957.

LM: The link you posted with all of the Raleigh theatres shows a State Theatre. Is that listed on CT?
