The Garden 8 was opened by National Cinemas on February 27, 1987. This theatre was not successful and was closed in 1990.

On June 14, 1991 it was re-invented as the Galaxy 7 discount subrun house and it ran that way until in closed on March 3, 1994.

Looking at the address provided above, it’s oddly close to the former Cobb/Regal Palace 18. Is it possible that this theatre was turned into the Palace?

This was in the same shopping plaza as the Tamiami-Palace 18 but in a different location. Aerial photo showing the two cinemas in the photo section.

This opened by National Cinemas as the Garden Cinema on February 27th, 1987 and closed in 1990. It reopened by MI Theatres (which had a location in the New Orleans area) as the Galaxy 7 Cinemas on a discount policy on June 14th, 1991 and closed around 1993. Grand opening ads posted.
