The 11-screen Cineworld opened on 24th March 2006. It is built on the site of the old Flowers brewery. An IMAX screen was opened on 7th November 2014. 4DX & VIP screens opened on 6th September 2019 giving a total seating capacity of 2,000. The separate 3-screen Screening Rooms with a total seating capacity of 120, between 27 & 41-seats) (which have their own page on Cinema Treasures) were merged with the 11-screen Cineworld giving the total seating capacity to 1,659-seats.

In June 2011, Cineworld opened “The Screening Rooms”, a three-screen luxury cinema, alongside their existing multiplex. See separate entry for full details.
Renovated in 2019, with a 4DX screen replacing one screen and 3 VIP screens opening, bringing it up to 14.
Can anybody acquire the seat count for Screen 3? I’ve been able to get them for all the other screens but not this one because of the screen being general admission with no reserved seating.
Update – according to a YouTube video they now have 1671 seats over their 14 screens.
