The AMC Broadway Plaza 12 was built in 2002 and sat idle for almost a year before it opened on 24th October 2003. The screens are THX Certified and the capacity was for 2,800.
In September 2012, it was taken over by the Odeon Cinemas Group circuit and re-named Odeon Birmingham Broadway Plaza. Following refurbishment and a reduction in the seating capacities, it re-opened in June 2018 as the Odeon Luxe Birmingham Broadway Plaza.

Odeon Plaza has been fully refurbished into the UK’s largest luxury cinema, work was completed on 11/06/18 when all 12 screens were converted into bespoke theatres. Originally 2,909 seats when AMC opened the site in 2000. Odeon took over in 2012 but now seating capacity has been reduced to 1,264, each and everyone being a soft padded leather seat with electric recliner and triple legroom.

Screen 2 (iSense) is 17.94m x 9.58m high and has 361 seats. Not sure but this may well be the largest iSense screen in the UK?
This cinema is high on my list of ones to visit in the near future.
NBDA Architects' Case Study on Odeon Luxe Birmingham Broadway Plaza.
The refurbishment cost £6.5m and was delivered in a 20 week construction programme. The design was “in brand” with bespoke elements, including an “acoustic timber” ceiling in the foyer.
The page includes a number of high resolution photos of the foyer and lobby areas, the iSense auditorium, and another auditorium.
From these photos, the iSense auditorium boasts JBL rear speakers, and the screen appears to include moveable masking.
The other auditorium seems to have retained old KCS rear speakers, presumably kept from the original installation, which seems like penny pinching given the sums involved in this project.
This aside, it looks like a very good place to see a film.
