New Paltz Theatre

The Colonial Hall was opened by 1929. By 1941 it had been renamed New Paltz Theatre. By 1950 it was operated by Liggett-Florin Booking Service and they were still the operators in 1957. It burned to the ground in the 1960’s.

The last film that I saw there was "The Blue Max." It burned down shortly after that. I believe that the film showing at that time was “Is Paris Burning?”

This one should have previous names of Colonial Theatre and New Colonial Theatre. The theatre name was changed to New Paltz Theatre in 1936.
