I saw “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” at this theatre while on a multi state trip. When I finally got back to New York, “Molly Brown” was first opening at the Music Hall. I couldn’t believe they built such a spectacular theatre, in what I looked at as a “little town”. In any event, I’m glad that it’s still there and hasn’t been demolished….like virtually all the great theatres in New York have been.

Thanks again Chuck1231.I do even have my own pictures of the Theatres that I used to work in. Keep them coming.I have not been on C.T. too long but it is how I spend a lot of my spare time.Great site.

Thanks for the info Chuck1231, the next time I go to Evansville I will check it out. I have been there several times but did not know about this theatre. Good to see that it is still in operation.

Foundations were put in place, but the theater, to be called the Ambassador or the Cadick was never built. Details here:
