Albertville Caroll Theater circa late 1960's

The Carol Theater opened on September 12, 1938 with James Stewart in “Vivacious Lady”. In the early-1960’s, it was part of the Martin Theatres circuit. It looks like the theater closed around 1966.

The Carol Theater opened its doors on September 12, 1938 with James Stewart in “Vivacious Lady” along with a Mickey Mouse cartoon in “Boat Builders” and a short entitled “In The Swim”.

This was originally operated by Crescent Amusement Company, before Martin Theatres took it over in January 1961.
