Stage Two Cinema Pub

This independent theater showed movies several weeks after their release at rock-bottom ($5) prices. Seats are old airline seats with tables, full pub menu including beer and wine. The theater also does functions, where they’ll play your home movie, presentation, etc. Currently up for sale, but still running as always.

It was closed by the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020 and never reopened.

Any idea when this cinema pub opened? I know that it’s very near the old Amesbury Theatre on Main St. which has been converted to other uses.

Sturbity- Thanks for info; I did not realize it had been around so long, and that it was a former theater (I assume a live theater??)
