Vintage Photo of the Day – The temperatures have been almost unbearable the last few days and thank goodness there’s air conditioning available in most homes and cars! Back in 1956, you had only a few options: stand in front of the fan, go swimming at the Hedges Boyer Park pool, or go to the movies at the Ritz. Today’s vintage photo is one that we offered 5 years ago, but we’re showing it again because it really hits the spot. This event was a special promotion from Rose Motors called the “Rocket Car-Tune-Show”. The free kids show featured 15 “color” cartoons and it advertised that “It’s COOL inside” where you can enjoy the comfort of “cool, crisp air”!
