Columbia is now Cecil B. Moore Avenue. It looks like the building was being used for banquets last year.

The vertical COLUMBIA sign is gone now but the marquee remains. Today the theater is a catering hall. Roll down shutters cover the entrance and weathered plywood covers the second floor windows. A decrepit parking lot is to the rear.
This theater is set for demolition, with an 18 story tower planned for the site. Unfortunately while the outside of the building remains remarkably intact, the inside was entirely gutted when the structure was converted into a banquet hall. Nothing of the original interior appears to be left.
@ EsseXploreR, were you able to obtain entrance to the inside? any idea when it might be demolished?
Sorry, just seeing this now. I was able to get inside, my picture is in the photos section.
The building has now been completely demolished.
