The 640-seat Miller’s Theatre was opened on April 18, 1930 with Sue Carol in “The Golden Calf” & George LeMaire in “Go Easy, Doctor”. By 1943 it was operated by Long Theaters. It closed in October 2010. It later reopened and closed again in February 2013. Now equipped with digital projection, it reopened May 2, 2014 with “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”. The seating capacity has now been reduced to 187.
In November 2017, Miller’s Theatre was closed and the building is ‘For Sale". It was still 'For Sale’ in 2026.

has suffered some damage miller theater by flooding yesterday?
Went by this yesterday and it is still closed/for sale.
Theatre is now open and playing new movie releases. All digital projection and 14 speaker 7.1 Dolby surround sound!
The Miller theatre closed by the end of 2017.
The Miller’s Theatre opened its doors on April 18, 1930 with Sue Carol in “The Golden Calf” and Louis Simon in “Go Easy, Doctor” along with a Fox Movietone Newsreel.
CBS affiliate KBTX-TV in Bryan/College Station confirms that the theater closed in November 2017 when the Marlow family placed the theater for sale. And as of 2026, it is still closed.
