Theater later became a church, SouthPoint Church, not long after closing.

This opened on December 14th, 1979. Grand opening ad posted.

Opened in the late 1970s by Ogden Perry Theatres, expanded to 8 screens in 2003 and closed in November 2010. The old website was at http://www.southavencinema8.com/.
