I believe the Texan drive Inn was also featured in Midnight Cowboy

After the Tower closed, it was used in one scene in the movie Midnight Cowboy with Jon Voight. It was supposed to be a theater in New York City. That whole part of the street was torn down and is now a parking lot.

It will take a little more research to find where it was located as the building does not appear to exist any more.
