A 1939 photo of the Varsity Theatre exhibited a ramshackle mess. 1943 shots tell a happier story, a modish marquee and upright sign had been installed onto a clean facade.

Exact address for the Varsity Theatre was 106 E. Main St., Norman, OK 73069. Building still stands across from the Sooner Theatre, next to Danny’s TV Shop.
