Operating circa 1900, the five-cent Hippodrome Theatre can be clearly seen in the photo in this link. Located on the western side of Bergenline Avenue just north of 32nd Street, this maps to approximately 3210 Bergenline Avenue.
Any additional information on this theatre would be greatly appreciated.

A web search of farm markets shows the current address as 3207 Bergenline.
North Jersey, feh. South Jersey rules.
Dude….No one even mentioned North vs South Jersey…LOL South Jersey people have SUCH a chip on their shoulders…just like Philly folks. I guess it’s because if they never brought themselves or their regions up…no one ever would.
When the theatre closed it became Davis’s toy store. It finally burned down about ten years ago. The lot is still empty
Never new that Davis toy store was the old Hippodrome. I do remember Davis and that just up the block – same side – was Ponticorvo fruits and vegetable stand. They later moved to Ridgefield in Bergen County.
