Opened in 1913 as a live theatre, the Berwyn Theatre later became a movie house, until 1951, when it was converted into a roller skating rink which lasted until the late-1970’s.
The building was converted into offices in 1980. In 2002, the building was renovated and restored, bringing the former theatre closer to its original appearance. In 2022, Playfly Sports took over the building from the law firm that was previously there, and spent $2 million in renovations to use as offices and put a basketball court in the excavated basement.
