I recently had dinner with a friend who grew up in Beaver PA and spoke of this theatre. If anyone has photos or additional information, please post. I thank you and so will my friend from Beaver PA.
By 1983 the property was occupied by a shoe store and a jewelry store.
Ed: Does sound like this former theatre will not be a theatre again with the property being occupied by a shoe store and a jewelry store. What is the status of this theatre now? Maybe CT member, Lost Memory can help!
Lost: It may be one in the same though my source(s) will have to confirm or deny that information.
Renewing link.
I used to go the the Beaver Theater as a child. I was born in 1959, so it would have been around the mid 60’s. Awhile back I bought a movie poster of the Shirley Temple movie Heidi that was playing at the Beaver Theater on ebay. On one side it has a picture of Shirley Temple and the other side has the different movies that were going to be shown, along with different advertisements from a few of the local businesses. I’d be glad to send picures of them if you’d like.

Would love to see a photo of this former theatre.
patcropper You Missed these On Jan 8 1960 THE BEAVER THEATRE was showing “THE MATING GAME” with “HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL” coming next!
The last films I can find advertised in the Beaver County Times are for the week of May 29-June 4, 1968, which are “Cool Hand Luke” and “The Incredible Mr. Limpet”
