The Morgan Theatre was opened on December 25, 1936 with Walter Houston in “Dodsworth”. It was sold and converted into a jewelry store in 1955.

Way too much snow in the 1938 picture. No thanks.
At some point in time it was operated by the Thomas Theatre Group along with more than a dozen other Michigan Theatres.
