This theater opened February 13, 2004 by National Amusements. In 2009 it was taken over by Rave Motion Picture Theatres. It has some of the largest screens in the city. It is located in the Fern Creek/Highview area. This theater held the premiere for the movie “Elizabethtown”.
As of June 2013, Cinemark replaced Rave Motion Picture Theatres as the theatre operator.

From the new pictures on Cinema Tour it looks identical in design to the Island 16 right down to the outdoors seating.
John,I think I think both theaters open roughly the same time
This theatre was opened by National Amusements in 2004, not Rave. It was sold to Rave Motion Pictures (along with many other NA locations) and rebranded in 2009.
