The Cloquet Theatre was opened in 1936 and was still operating under this name in 1966. By 1982 it had been renamed Chief Theatre and is now used as a coffee shop called Northern Espresso.

What kind of style would that be classified under? Gingerbread? I don’t have a clue.

The Chief Theater is assuming another new life! As of now, it is occupied by The Avenue Coffee House and Twisted Treat Yogurt Shop. Also, Arise Church meets upstairs on Sundays. The theater was divided years ago so there are two floors. The balcony level is still upstairs. It is being renovated and is beautiful!
