This venue’s 70mm presentations history is included in the recently-published article “70mm Presentations in Bakersfield: A Chronology of 70mm Large Format Exhibition, 1967-Present”.
AMC is now operating this as a first-run theatre again. As of April 1, 2019, it’s showing Wonder Park, Five Feet Apart, Captain Marvel, Us, and Dumbo (in 2D and 3D). It’s got reserved seating and recliner seats.
The theatre is currently (10/06) undergong some repairs from an afterhours fire in one of the small auditoriums and should reopen shortly.
