Conestoga Four

AMC Theatres opened the Conestoga Four on May 16, 1975, located in the Conestoga Mall, it was a first run house. It was taken over by Dubinsky Brothers on May 20, 1988. Excellence Theatres took over on December 1, 1988. It was taken over by Carmike in 1991. It later became a discount house when Dickinson opened the Mall 7 in the same mall. It was closed on January 12, 2006.

This theatre has been closed for several years. Also it’s Conestoga with an O, not “Canestoga”

They closed the Conestoga Four when they opened the Dickinson 7

Opened May 16th, 1975. Grand opening ad posted. A rare small-town location for AMC at this time.

Excellence Theatres took over the theater on December 1, 1988 after buying out the Dubinsky Brothers. Carmike took it over in 1991.
