The Sparta Drive-In had opened recently, according to the June 28, 1952, issue of Boxoffice Magazine. It was designed by Milwaukee architect Urban Peacock.

Not much overhead in a drive-in.

A more accurate address for this theater is now 11100 Harvest Ave, Sparta, WI 54656. This points directly to the entrance road. The drive in itself is now Specialty Food Distribution.

Please update.

Although Specialty Food Distribution covers almost the entire property that the drive-in once stood, the foundation of the screen is still present. You can see it next to “Theater Road” which was probably in honor of the drive-in.
