A chronology of Boise’s 70mm presentations history has recently been published. The 8th Street Marketplace gets some mentions in the piece.

and reopened as a discount cinema on March 22nd, 2002 and closed in 2003. Another ad posed.

Plitt theatres opened the 8th Street Marketplace Cinemas on December 14th, 1979, with “The Jerk” and “Kramer Vs. Kramer”. There were plans for Cineplex Odeon to replace this with a 16-plex in the style of the St. Bruno Cinemas near Montréal for 1998 but cancelled after they heard of the Edwards megaplex.
