The Granada Theatre was opened December 25, 1929 by OK Theatres. It is shown in the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook as open with seating for 1,000. Alpine’s other movie houses also once included the Cactus Theatre and the Mojave Theatre(aka Texas Theatre), but the Granada Theatre was the city’s largest theatre. The theatre was closed for many years.
It was reopened in 2014.

From the interior photos at the official website above, the auditorium looks stripped to the bare walls, but the ornate pressed tin ceiling is still intact. Lobby is modern decor.
