Previous Names: Beck's Theatre, Metropolitan Theatre
Opened in 1902 as Beck’s Theatre. It was briefly renamed Metropolitan Theatre on October 3, 1912. On October 7, 1915 the upper balcony was replaced by a projection booth and the name was changed to the American Theatre. This theatre closed in 1958 and was demolished shortly afterwards.
