The Towne Theater is owned and operated by a family that lives in Ephram, they also operate another twin in Ephram and the Drive In at Mt. Plesant. It was recently re-modeled and it still retains its balcony. Recently a new USL JSD-80 sound processor was installed along with a BACP recverse scan analog reader. It is not yet equipped for digital sound playback.
The Towne Theatre has moved into its next phase of existence. A Christie CP-2220 digital projector was installed with 3D capability. Sound was upgraded to Dolby 7.1. Screen replaced with silver.
