Richland Theater

The Richland Theater opened on February 17, 1944. It was operated by the Midstate Amusement Corp. I don’t have the date that it stopped showing movies but it became the home of the Richland Players around 2001. This theater was supposed to be sold in June of 2005 and converted to a Walgreens Drugstore but the deal didn’t go through. For now, it remains a live theater.

Crisper 1944 photo added credit Vintage Tri-Cities Facebook page. Area was then known as The Greenway.
