Opened by Bill Hunt and a partner for $300 in 1906. This was one of Hunt’s first theatres. He would soon become a very successful theatre owner in Wildwood, NJ.

Newspaper ads from 1907-08 give the Bijou Dream’s address as Broadway and Division Street. (Division is now Ramona Gonzalez Street.) Nothing at the intersection today resembles the photo shown above.
