The Pastime Theater was opened prior to 1926. It was still open in 1957. By 2010 the building was in use as an antique mall.

“The front of the Pastime Theater in Vicco. The sign overhead promoted "The New Adventures of Tarzan” with Herman Brix who was later known as Bruce Bennett. Behind the women are posters for the movies “Seven Keys to Baldpate” (1935) with Gene Raymond and “The Professional Soldier (1936) with Gloria Stuart.”

I looked at Main Street, which is only a couple of blocks. No sign of this building. The site below also states that the Pastime is gone, which is not surprising if you look at the 1979 photo. Status should be changed to closed/demolished.

More reminiscing from the locals:

Very sad looking photo of the marquee, looks like the Pastime lived up to its name.
Nope, not gone. In fact, it’s doing business as an antique mall. I passed through today and got some shots of it. I’ll be putting them on Landmark.com, so I’ll link to the profile when I get them added.

Address is/was 103 Main Street. The Pastime Theatre was owned by Tony Reda who also owned the State Theatre 2 doors down. I set up a page for the State Theatre and will post a photo when it’s up on CT. The Facebook page for Vicco Antique Mall had it’s last post in June 2020. Street view shows a new house at that address. I sent a message to the Vicco Antique Mall to ask if it is still standing.
Two 1937 photos added. The Pastime Theatre was two doors to the right of the State Theatre in the photos. The Pastime Theatre survived a March 11, 1938 fire that destroyed the neighboring 6 buildings to it’s left, including the State Theatre. Still awaiting confirmation from Vicco Antique Mall as to whether the former Pastime Theatre building they occupied is still standing.
Vicco Antique Mall has confirmed they are still open in the former Pastime Theatre building. The Google street view is incorrect in it’s depiction of Main Street in Vicco.
