Cinepolis Mansfield

Opened by Clearview Cinemas as the Mansfield Cinema 15 on December 31, 1998 to coincide with the release of the new “Star Wars” and “Matrix” movies. This megaplex was Clearview’s largest in the tri-state area. Located just off Route 57 and Allen Road in a busy shopping outlet, this theater has it all: stadium seating, Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES surround sound, plenty of concessions, and online ticketing.

In June 2013 it was taken over by Bow-Tie Cinemas. In July 2016 it was taken over by Cinepolis. It was closed for refurbishment in March 2019 with a July 2019 reopening.

July 12 is when it’s expected to open according to people who work there. The screens will be around 12 screens and there will be a new cinepolis logo to be featured on signage tickets et al. About time a movie theatre in Warren County has recliners. Regal, youre up next!!!

According to what i heard on social media, this theater is a huge improvement over the original despite having higher ticket prices and other amenities.

After the renovations this theater is fantastic. It was great when it first opened in ‘99 and then slowly went downhill. The Popcorn is the best around.

Overview should be updated to “Originally opened as Clearview Cinemas in December 1998”

Correction, the theatre opened December 18, 1998, not Dec 31, the ad was published after they officially opened

Only 13 screens but opened as 15. Must have torn a few walls down somewhere.
