The Montrose Theater opened at least by 1913, when a theater was operating at this address. The Montrose was located on Milwaukee Avenue near the intersection of Montrose Avenue in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. The theater operated into the 1930s. Today, the building houses a flower shop.
