I was in Bradford today and visited the Bradford Theatre formerly known as the Dipson Bradford. The style is art deco style during my visit I saw actor, Denzel Washington who is in the area filming a movie!

At the www.bradfordlandmark.org site I can’t seem to bring up any of the historical past time capsule buildings such as the Grand Theatre so have sent an email to the webmaster asking for help!

I visited Bradford today and the McKean is now a bank parking lot with drive-through windows..such a shame as the interior was beautiful and it hasn’t been that long since it was demolished….late 90’s! Another theatre on South Street, the Shea’s is gone to make way for another PARKING LOT!

Film Daily Yearbooks give a seating capacity of 860, so maybe it lost some seats(uppper balcony perhaps?) when it converted to movie theatre use. The address given is 31 Main Street, Bradford, PA
