Manos Quality Theatres Enterprises Co. launched a multiplex in Bluefield, West Virginia’s new Mercer Mall that had launched in October 1980. The five-plex opened six months after the Mall’s debut on April 19, 1981 with “The Howling”, “Caveman”, “Amy”, “Excalibur” and “Nighthawks”.
