Projection Room, soon after sound was installed.
The picture shows the switchboard which controlled the coloured lighting of features in the auditorium, and the motor, directly coupled to the projector head, of Ernemann design, which may have been from the German company, or one of the Adelaide built derivatives by Garvie or Benbow. Via a flexible cable, the motor was also coupled to the sound on disk turntable to keep the picture and sound in synchronization, if all went well!
