“His name is lost to history but the projectionist sits waiting to change the film reels in the projection booth at Roth’s Silver Spring Theatre on Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD. We ushers had to pass through this booth to climb out on the roof to change the marquee in every kind of weather when there was a change of movie. The year was about 1959-60.”
