“My grandfather, George Bertling, owned this theater from 1917 till it closed in 1933. My mother played the piano for the silent movies there. My grandfather also owned theaters in Tipp City, Bradford, Vandaila and Dayton. When I was a kid I never had a problem going to the movies!!!”
