Enean Theatre Restoration Pics

PITTSBURG, CA — Jaime F Penuela sent in an update on the Enean Theatre (including pics of the theater’s restoration):

“Here are some pictures of the ongoing restoration of the Enean Theatre. We are in the early stages, but there are plans to convert it in to a multimedia theater and restaurant, serving the finest cuts of meat and international cuisine, along with a full bar (inside the shell of an old boat!) and a coffee shop.

On the entertainment side, we will have from current world events and news, to the finest TV shows, movies, local film, sports events, local artists and activities etc. A huge 32x17 screen with premium sound. (Note: the Enean’s main auditorium not shown in this set of pictures.)

I thank you for your support."

Wow… I’m taken away. This place is beautiful. What does the front look like? Thank you for putting the money, the time and effort into restoring this theatre.

Patrick,
Thanks for this wonderful web site, it has inspired me, and motivated my efforts to restore the Enean Theatre. If we are aproved a loan from “The Agency” (Pittsburg.Ca), we should be very close to be in compliance to open doors for business by late september this year.

We currently have a great offer for your refurbishing project. Although we can not help with funding, we can offer great Auditorium seats (fully cushioned \ floor mount) for a very great price.

For $59 USD we have numerous very well maintained seats, digital pictures can be provided, that could drastically reduce your renovation costs.

Give us a call (780) 432-4765 if you would be interested in these very historical seats.

I am happy to say that with a little help from Grande Venues, Inc., Jaime pulled it off. The first part of his journey has ended. This week, the City of Pittsburg, CA has agreed to help us start the restoration! See? Miracles can happen even in the East Bay area. By the way, the boat will stay! Our plans are for movie theatre/sports bar with kitchen and bar. Can the man who posted earlier send us photos of the seats he has for sale, please?
