  • <p>Brooklyn’s Clinton Theatre rolls out its new carpeting as shown here in 1943.</p>
  • <p>The Trylon Theater was featured in the 1941 Theatre Catalog. This is the auditorium towards the screen with “World of Tomorrow” theme murals which tie into the 1939 World’s Fair. Also seen is a view towards the balcony. The auditorium was streamlined horizontally and vertically, and featured a stepped ceiling.</p>

  • <p>In this 1995 image, it can be seen how a later (1960s?) remodeling caused the main floor seating to be replaced, and the lower portions of the walls repainted.  The balcony–by then permanently closed–was left alone, with walls left their former color, and seating left in place, as well as carpet.</p>
