After the Tower closed, it was used in one scene in the movie Midnight Cowboy with Jon Voight. It was supposed to be a theater in New York City.
That whole part of the street was torn down and is now a parking lot.
This may have been the original site, but I remember seeing a few movies there in 1960 and it was located on the Andrews Highway. Later, it was replaced by an indoor movie palace called the Westwood. The hospital currently called the West Campus of Midland Memorial is on that site now.

I believe the original location was about one mile east where All American Chevrolet is now located.
