As of right now I know both the combo 35/70mm projector as well as the 16mm projector are not hooked up the the breaker system, and are therefore not in service. I’d really hate to see this place stop screening actual film altogether, as I’m almost certain no other theater in New Hampshire still projects film.

Just an update on the three screens at this theater (from an employee):

Both the Lincoln Financial and the Stonyfield Cinemas are now each equipped with a 2K Christie Digital Projector, which can screen DCPs as well as DVDs, Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and various digital files.

The Jaclyn Simchik Memorial Cinema went through a renovation in early 2017, and now seats only 22. The seats are more comfortable now, and the room’s atmosphere is more in line with that of the two larger auditoriums. I believe the digital projector in the Simchik is a Sony VPL-HW40ES, which can output in 4K and even 3D, although we mostly screen standard exhibition Blu-rays and DVDs.
