  • <p>Here is a picture of an “Avengers” wall banner. This was taken through the glass, so it might look a little strange.</p>
  • <p>This picture was taken through the glass of the front door, but it’s better than nothing. :) You can see the concession stand area and some of the cool decorations that have on the walls.</p>
  • <p>Here’s a poster advertisement for “Baby’s Night Out”, which is a special showing that welcomes people with their babies. They provide changing tables for the babies and everyone expects it to be noisy. Kind of a cool idea for moms (and dads) that want to see movies but feel weird about bringing their little ones to the movies.</p>
  • <p>This picture was taken through the glass, so it’s not perfect, but you can still clearly see the lobby area. You can see an ice-cream vending machine and ATM on the left side. There is a “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” stand-up display, as well as a “Dark Shadows” stand-up display (it’s really cool, it has an actual red chair in front, so you can take a picture with the cardboard cut-out cast…I thought it was a great idea). You can also see the “Rock of Ages” stand-up display, which had a fake guitar with it, so you can take a pic of you rockin' out with it, again, I thought it was a cool idea. I love the interactive stand-up displays. In the background on the right you can see the concession stand/snack bar. And finally up on top you can see a poster/banner for “The Chernobyl Diaries” and “The Avengers”.</p>
  • <p>I thought this was a really cool accidental shot. It’s hard to really figure out what you are looking at. First off the left side of the picture is the lobby (through the glass), but the right side of the photo is a reflection on the glass of everything outside. The ground makes an almost seamless transition from lobby floor to outside floor reflection.</p>
  • <p>If you were driving north on Ynez Road, this is the side you would see of the road-side marquee for the Ultrastar Tower 10 theater. You can see the intersection sign for “Tower Plaza S” in the background.</p>
  • <p>If you were driving south on Ynez Road, this is the side of the marquee you would see.</p>
  • <p>At the time of this photo, the theater had just recently changed over from “The Movie Experience” to “Ultrastar”, so you can see from this picture that they didn’t even have a proper sign up yet, so they just put a banner over the old sign that shows that it is now an “Ultrastar Cinemas”.</p>
  • <p>This is obviously now a 24 Hour Fitness, but the building is the same. In fact there are a lot of vestiges of the old theater. Sadly the marquees had been taken down fairly recently before this picture was taken. I go to this 24 Hour Fitness and always thought it was funny that the marquees were still there, I guess someone got sick of them and took them down. There were two rectangular marquees on the faces that stick out on either side of the box office. Screens 1-5 were on one side and 6-10 on the other. You can see a picture of the 24-Hour fitness with the marquees if you have a look at www.cinematour.com.</p>
  • <p>Here is what used to be the box office for the Edwards Rancho California 10. Now this sits empty and serves virtually no purpose, other than to hold the 24 Hour Fitness sign.</p>
