  • <p>This photo is from the mid 1970s, after the Lawndale Theatre had been converted to a community theatre. The live theatre retained virtually all of the Lawndale’s original 500 seats and fixtures, but a revolving stage was added. Some of the cast members believed that the building was haunted. It is a day care center as of 2012.</p>
