@aeterna - Thanks for the information. He actually was born in 1898 so was about 77 when he retired He passed away in 1985. Can you post the clip from the magazine?
I am trying to find out more information regarding Jack Blum the theatre manager from 1972-1975. I believe he was a Loews lifer. If anybody knows whether he had any family, please let me know.
Pat C – my name is Scott Teichman and I am on facebook as well – there’s 2 of us with the same name on Facebook – I am the one from Colorado. Sorry I haven’t responded sooner but hope to hear back from you.
Pat C – Thank You so much for the information. I am 99% certain that he was related to my grandfather who was also tall and thin. I may never know for certain unfortunately. If you do have any photos that would be terrific.
Ed G – would love to hear your memories of Mr. Reis as well.
@ PatC – I believe that your manager Jack Reis may have been my grandfathers long lost half brother. Can you tell me more about him? Approximate age when you worked for him, family members, whether born in USA or an immigrant? Basically any information that you may have. Thank You so much.
If anybody can remember the name of any longtime employees/managers of this theatre, please let me know. Particularly interested in Managers/Projectionists from the 1950’s.
